Truecaller pacts with Tata Docomo to offer free data and premium services

Most popular caller ID app Truecaller pacts with Tata Docomo to offer free data for Truecaller usage. From now Tata Docomo will not charge its customers for using truecaller and offer premium features for free as the result of this deal. Truecaller is the caller ID authentication app which displays the name of the caller when you receive a call, you can also block the spam callers and the other callers whom you don’t want to pick the calls.

This is the first kind of deal made by Truecaller and it believes that this pact may increase the true caller users in India and also this helps the users to stay away from the spam callers. There are 30 million truecaller users are in India out of its 55 million user base.


Now Docomo customers will not be charged additionally and offers the access to premium service for a period of 90 days. The premium services of truecaller are shown below.

  • Who viewed your profile :¬†Premium users can see who viewed their profile and also they can see how many minutes they have seen it.
  • Contact Requests :¬†At the start of the month premium users will get 30 contact requests. Using these requests premium customers can contact other users by looking for their name in the directory.
  • Advertisement free :¬†Premium users will get experienced to ad free true caller.

This deal may increase the True caller business and consumer base in India. Truecaller Android app recently got an update with new features like Google+ and name suggestion integration.
