Get Me A Shop, a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) online enablement platform has been acquired for an unspecified amount by Times Internet Limited (TIL), the digital unit of largest Indian news publication, Times of India. It is a good deal for both the company, as Get Me A Shop will get a wide recognition and the TIL will get to enhance its portfolio.
Times Internet Limited will also use its medium to advertise the Get Me A Shop to its target customers locally. The startup will operate similarly after acquisitions also, which means its existing customers won’t be affected due to this new deal.
Get Me A Shop is a Noida based startup that was founded by Pushkal Srivastava in 2014. The startup allows small businesses to create their own websites and mobile apps for their online businesses, so that they can manage their customers, inventory and catalogue easily.
