Teridion, Cloud based networking startup based out of San Francisco has raised $20 Million in Series B round led by Kickstart Ventures, A Philippine based VC Firm owned by Globe Telecom. The round also saw participation from SingTel Innov8, Jerusalem Venture Partners, and Magma Ventures.

Founded in 2013, it helps the companies deploy and scale their apps and content in the cloud using the on-demand technologies. The process is quicker and cost effective, claims Teridion, stating that the speed of downloads and uploads on its network is over 20 times faster as compared to other CDNs.

With the raised funds, the startup is looking to accelerate in United States along with growing the international team. It has around 15 companies as customers in United States and Israel in domains like file hosting, file sharing, rich media and advertising. However, it aims to get more of the enterprises and service providers on the customer portfolio soon.

Speaking on the development, Minette Navarrete, President of Kickstart said that with the high speed performance, Teridion is set to become a partner of the enterprises looking to provide better services to their customers. It is indeed a good investment and we look for a fruitful partnership.
