Amazon, the retail giant has entered the device manufacturing segment with its Kindle Fire Tablet, now recently it came up with Amazon Fire Phone. It runs on Amazon Fire OS 3.5 which is Android based OS. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 32/64 GB internal memory. It sports 13 MP primary camera and 2.1 MP front camera. It features 4.7 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. You can order it from the Amazon website.

Although it is the Android based phone, there is a lot that it does different and gone off the reservation with its on suite of services and apps. But one thing that doesn’t changed with the Amazon Fire Phone is taking screenshots. Here I am going to explain how to take screenshots on it.

How to take screenshot on Amazon Fire Phone

Taking screenshot on Amazon Fire Phone is quite similar to Android.

  • Press power and volume-down buttons simultaneously on your Amazon Fire Phone.
  • After pressing them for few seconds you will get an audible alert which lets you know that the screenshot was taken.
  • Now the screenshot will be saved in the gallery on your phone in the ‘screenshots’ folder.

Like in the Android phones you don’t need to go to your phone’s gallery to find that screenshot, just pull down the top of the display and you will find the usual “screenshot” captured notification. Pull it down and you will find an option to share the screen through any connected services.
