Recently, device unlocking has made legal in US, i.e, SIM unlocking not any other type. Now the customers will able to change their carrier and use it on the another carrier if they wanted. However, when the bill was discussed carriers asked that they will take control of unlocking any device.
Now it’s been a great news that T-Mobile tonight has introduced an SIM unlock app which will allow the phone to work on other GSM networks. T-Mobile has making the things easier for the customer like paying your bill, upgrading your device and now unlocking your device. This app to unlock your device could be the easiest way to just do that.
But for now, this app is available for only one device, Samsung Galaxy Avant. Tmo News has released some images of the app running on the Galaxy Avant phone. In the images we can find that T-Mobile is offering the two different options for SIM unlocking permanent or temporary. The permanent option will unlock the device for the life time and temporary option will unlock it only for 30 days. The temporary unlocking option would be handy when you are just out for vacation or travelling to other country for work and need to use different service provider that time.
If you want to permanently unlock your device, then it must be first checked for eligibility. If the phone is still on contract then permanent unlock option fails. Though Galaxy Avant is not so popular, T-Mobile might be released this unlocking app for this device for the testing purpose. We hope that it may available to all devices very soon.
