There are only two Android powered smart watches currently available for purchase the LG G Watch and Galaxy Gear 2, but HTC has been reportedly planning to throw its hat into the ring too. There’s a new render of what may be HTC’s Android Wear watch from @evleaks, and it’s another square.
First thing’s first: this is not the main render attained by @evleaks, but rather a recreation of it. It is possible the original would have compromised a source, but they didn’t got into detail on that. Either way, the hardware is probably faithful to the actual one. The real leak did not have anything on the display, so @evleaks thought to have some fun with it. Yeah, it makes it look forged because Wear cannot be skinned, but we should ignore that. If this is real, HTC is going with a square watch rather the circled design like Motorola’s round Moto 360. Hoever, the bezel looks quite a bit slimmer than what we have seen in Gear Live or LG G Watch. It also has a metal band, and even you can replace with any design later. HTC’s basically just trying to stay with its metal aesthetic by (maybe) shipping a watch with a metal band as well. We have no idea about when or how much, assuming this is real and actually in the pipeline.
If you people are interested in this smart watch that might launch in coming days, this is I think a great news for HTC Lovers waiting to get the smart watch running Android, stay connected with us to get more news, updates and more related to this leaked device.
