Sundayrest raises $300,000 in seed round

Sundayrest, the eCommerce store that claims to be the first online store targeted towards bedding products in India has raised $300,000 in seed round of funding that includes Founder of Pennywise, Anand Morzaria. Sundayrest startup is an Indian company that sells only mattresses and pillows.

The Sundayrest Company deals in high-end bedding products from international brands. The Bengaluru based startup has partnered with Shippr and The Porter for delivering its products. The company offers same day delivery option for people living in Bengaluru, whereas company delivers product within a week for customers living outside Bengaluru.

As of now, the online retailer only provides same day delivery features in Bengaluru, but the startup is planning to expand its same day delivery service to some other main cities of India like Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad. The startup also offers 100 nights risk-free-trial service, which means users can use the product for 100 nights and if they are not satisfied with the mattress, they can return the product and get full cash back from the company.

There are not many companies that offer same kind of service, but Sundayrest will have to compete with some major eCommerce stores like FlipKart and Snapdeal. The startup aims to make choosing mattresses very easy for the customers.
