Styledotme, Indian fashion app has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Indian Angel Network. The investment has come as a part of “Small Ticket Funding Program” announced by IAN last year. The investment round was led by Ajay Gupta on behalf of the Indian Angel Network, he will also be a mentor to the company.

The Delhi based startup was launched in January 2014 by Meghna Saraogi. It helps the users network with their friends and make decisions related to fashion. The app also has many experts to help the users in coming up with the right fashion knowledge. If a user is confused over a choice of products or brands, the app lets him/her create a poll and ask friends and followers for opinions by sending them a notification. Users can also set up deadlines to stop accepting new answers after a specific time period.

With the raised funds, the startup is looking to invest heavily in technology and design of the app along with marketing aggressively in the new markets. The major aim is to make app more user friendly by providing more intuitive and addictive experience.

The app is right now available on Android and iOS platforms. In the time to come, the team is planning to implement more ideas into the app. It is working towards having a recommendation engine for the users, in which, the app will suggest products to the users from the app. It will help the users to find more options and retail partners to increase their sales.
