StayGlad raises unspecified amount in Series A round of funding

Indian Beauty service startup, StayGlad got an unspecified amount in Series A round of funding from Bessemer Venture Partners and Ex CEO of Lakme Lever Anil Chopra. StayGlad is Bengaluru based on-demand beauty service platform that focuses on Women beauty service.

The startup was founded in May 2015 by a team of three IIT kharagpur graduates, Kavish Desai, Shashank Gupta and Prateek Jain, who have also worked at Flipkart, Adobe and Amazon respectively. StayGlad offers beauty products at your door steps.

Customers can get beauty and styling services at their homes through StayGlad, which allows its customers to avoid some usual challenges like whether, traffic or some others. StayGlad lets its customers find some verified, experienced and certified beauty service professionals, who will give beauty treatment with standard procedures and best products. The beauty and styling professionals can use StayGlad mobile app to find all their needs like logistics, orders, cash, routing and inventory management.

The company has some strict rules for selecting the professionals. The professionals have to go through a predefined process and skill training before joining StayGlad. The professionals, who fail to match the required skill set requirements defined by the startup are not selected by StayGlad. The company aims to give its customers best beauty and styling service to their door steps.

StayGlad had also raised an unspecified amount in Seed round of funding from Tracxn Labs and Sahil Barua back in June. According to Prateek Jain, the company is showing 20 percent growth rate on Weekly basis.
