The Sony has launched its new member of Xperia family. The Sony Xperia ZL2 with Snapdragon 801 launched in Japan. The device will be available on KDDI – a Japanese telecom operator. The price or availability date of the Xperia ZL’s successor has not been revealed.

Today Sony has disclosed a new Smartphone in Japan. It is a 5inch device, that runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 Operating system. It has a 5-inch full-HD LCD Triluminos Display empowered by Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and X-Reality, which delivers near about 440 ppi screen density, which is awesome.
The Sony Xperia ZL2 on the same processor that is recently launched with the Sony Xperia Z2 Smartphone that is Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AB) quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz which is paired with 3GB of RAM. The rear camera of the device is 20.7 Mega-pixel with LED flash.The rear camera of the device is capable for recording 4K video at (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution. The device has 3.1 mega-pixel front facing camera that can record videos in HD quality.
The Sony Xperia ZL2 has 32 GB internal storage which can expandable up to 32 GB via MicroSD card. The device is packed with a 3000mAh battery which deliver up to 1340 minutes of continuous talk time and it takes charge time of about 150 minutes. Sony Xperia ZL2 comes with many connectivity options such as 4G LTE, WI-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth v4.0. Information on GPS, NFC, FM radio.
The Xperia ZL2 available in Japan in three colors such as Black Blue and White. The phone is water and dust proof like other devices Xperia Z family member. The company yet not been disclosed the device is available for the rest of the world or its special version.
