It was only on Monday that Sony confirmed that it will be launching a selfie centric smartphone. As assured, the Japanese tech giant introduced the Xperia C3 smartphone with dual SIM feature and has claimed that this is the best selfie oriented phone available in the market.
The highlight of the Xperia C3 is the presence of a 5 MP front-facer that has a wide angle lens on with 80 degree field of view. This will allow the users to capture more details in a selfie clicked by the users. Besides this, the smartphone also has a unique soft flash that can help users to capture attractive selfies even at night. There is a double tapping feature that allows users to double tap on the back of the device to click a selfie. Another option to do the same is to use the Smile Shutter feature.
The other highlighted specifications of the Xperia C3 is that the device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat platform and employs a Snapdragon 400 chipset that houses a quad-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, Adreno 305 graphics engine and 1 GB of RAM. Also, there is an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash and connectivity features such as 4G, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and others. Furthermore, the device has 8 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded externally by means of a micro SD card.
Sony has announced the Xperia C3 in White, Black and Mint color variants and the sale will debut in August. Initially, the device will be made available in China later it will be witness a global rollout.
