Sony unveils mid-range Xperia C3 in India for 23,990

A new selfie focused Sony Xperia C3 now launched in India. Featuring a 5 MP front facing camera with an 80 degree field of view feature, the device allows you to take selfies by double tapping the back cover. The front camera also includes HDR and comes with Sony’s intelligent scene recognition sensor for better image that automatically adjusts settings based on lighting exposures.

According to the Sony, the phone is basically focused on young generation,and keeping that in mind, they included the features with this device. The Xperia C3 packs a 5.5-inch HD display with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory, quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 8 MP rear camera, dual-SIM connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and HSDPA connectivity along with a 2500 mAh battery running KitKat 4.4.2. Xperia C3 measures 156.2 x 78.7 x 7.6 mm and weighs 149.7 g. On the whole, by design the device device is quite sleek and looks attractive in your hand.

Dedicated camera app like AR effect has also been included with it, which allows you to add pre included animations to your videos and images, and also Portrait retouch, which as the name signifies gives you the chance to retouch your images before sharing it on any social network. Sony has unveiled that the smartphone will be available three different colors in white, black and mint color variants in India, official they will start shipping from September 1 and will be available both offline and online.

The price range the Xperia C3 has got which is Rs. 23,990 ($395), Sony is basically targeting other mid-range mid-range smartphones and can be a good competitor as well. While there are few devices offering better specs, the manufacturer is setting the high resolution front camera and LED flash is the highlight point.
