The Sony first wearable gadget has launched in India. The SmartBand of Sony is available in India at a price of Rs.5,990. The SmartBand is absolutely free with the latest flagship. The Band is launched with the Sony Xperia Z2.

First time this Smartband  was introduced by Sony in the CES 2014.The Sony SmartBand has focused on tracking the fitness and health of Sony Smartband users and also observes the user’s sleep, receive notifications and handle media playback options. This wearable device from Sony is compatible with any Android 4.4 KitKat OS device.


The device is dustproof and waterproof like the other high end devices  of Sony. It is also comes with a LifeLog android app, which records all the important days of the user life. The Smartband has a flexible display, which makes it more useful. It supports both horizontal and vertical screen.

Apart from that the SmartBand (for a limited period) for free with the Xperia Z2, Sony is also bundling 6 free HD movies for download, one full-HD cricket game, and 3 months Bigflix subscription, apart from a Sony original case worth Rs. 2,990, for free
