Sony released a video of PlayStation VR to give more details about specs

Sony has released a new promo video of PlayStation VR Company’s virtual reality headset that is slated to be launched in 2016. This new video shows more details on the different specifications and features of the upcoming VR headset from Sony and this video also gives us proper look at device.

According to the video, this PlayStation VR will come with a 5.7 inch OLED display with 1,920 x RGB x 1,080 resolutions and 120 HZ refresh rate with under 18ms latency. It will also have approx 100 degrees field of view, positional tracking with nine LEDS, a gyroscope and an accelerometer, 3D audio, HDMI and USB interfaces.


Usually, Virtual Reality is known for lonely experience, but Sony is saying that the PlayStation VR is different from others as “gameplay is output to both the VR headset and TV”, which allows family and friends to see what you are watching.

Sony still didn’t announce the price and exact release date of this device, according to the video, this upcoming VR headset from Sony will be released sometimes in first half of 2016.
