Sony announced SmartWatch 3 stainless steel variant

Sony has now unveiled the stainless steel variant of its smartwatch 3 at CES (Consumer Electronic Show) 2015. According to the company, the new variant of the Smartwatch will go on sale from next month. At CES, they are introducing a new SmartWatch variant, with a stainless steel and comes with a link-based strap which makes the wearable a much better fit for life beyond the gym or the track.

This Sony’s stainless steel SmartWatch 3 has packed with the same specifications and features like its predecessor which are including a 1.6-inch square display with a resolution of 320×320p. It comes with IP68 water-resistance rating. It also has a built-in GPS and standard microUSB port for charging. The SmartWatch 3 has a modular device, users should be able to get their hands on the strap as an aftermarket option. The watch runs on the latest Google Android Wear Operating System which is specially designed for the Smartwatches.

Along with the new variant of the smartwatch, the tech giant Sony has also unveiled a SmartWatch 3 holder, that will allow the consumers to use the device with any standard 24mm watch strap which makes it more personalized according to the user need and choices.
