Snapdeal to start selling Pizza on its platform

India’s one of the largest eCommerce website, Snapdeal is gearing up to sell Pizza on its platform. The company has partnered with Pizza Hut to launch its two new pizza offerings via its platform. The two new Pizzas are available on Pizza Hut outlet, but these pizzas will be available for delivery only through Snapdeal platform till today. It is available at discounted price only for registered Snapdeal users.



The registered Snapdeal users can order the new Pizza named as Cheese Maxx pizzas by paying a flat amount of Rs. 100. The paid amount will be adjusted against the final order placed at Pizza Hut outlet. These pizzas are available for Snapdeal customers with up to 50 per cent discount till December 30. These pizzas will go on open sale from tomorrow.

The eCommerce portal, Snapdeal has products in various other categories in addition to fashion, electronics, beauty and wellness along with home utility brands. The company now sells products in other categories like medicine, cars, bikes, incense sticks. Now it also sells Pizzas.



Currently, FlipKart, Amazon and Snapdeal are three major players in this sector in India and all of them are competing against each other for supremacy. All three companies are giving tough competition to each other with their discounted sales, wide range of categories and advertisements. Right now, FlipKart and Snapdeal are selling cars and bikes through their platform, whereas Amazon and eBay are selling cow dung patties, which are already selling in huge numbers in the nation.
