The Slowly is a slow motion video editing app for the Windows phone’s operating system platform. Slowly has been released to help you add slow motion effects to your videos, which are taken by the Smartphone camera.

This video editing app for Windows has provided  multiple slow-motion regions and change the speed of every region of the clip. Whenever you open  the Slowly app for the Windows, you have to click the plus button to select one of your video clips. The clip will be displayed in slow motion by default, but if  you want  specific region on the video then, you can set a start and end points for only certain parts to be in slow motion according to your need. The Slowly  has worked on both in portrait or landscape view.


The Parts which are in regular speed, they are highlighted with a gray, while other parts  which are in the slow motion they are highlighted in your phone’s accent color. You can also drag the playback control to fine-tune your start and end points.

The app is also offering you to can change the speeds of the regions in  slower motion. Move your playback control to which is a part of the clip and then select one of the speed options:

  • Slow 50%
  • Slower 40%
  • Slowest 25%


Once you are happy with the video, then click next. Slowly will render the video and save it within the Slowly folder in your photo album. You can also share the clip by email, Facebook, OneDrive, and more.

The Windows devices are most likely to recording videos at 30 frames per second or less. Making the clips 50%, 40%, or 25% slower will result in uneven videos. These slow-motion effects will look a lot better if your devices can shoot videos at least 60 frames per second. This app is free to download from the Windows Phone Store.
