The software giant Microsoft has reveals the latest design of the Skype for the Windows and Mac system user’s. Earlier the Skype has mainly focused on the video and voice calls, but with the rise of mobile it has started to shift to target instant messaging. And recently picked up some updates to improve its unreliable chat experience across multiple devices.
And now today the Microsoft is bringing a fresh look to Skype for Mac and Windows. The latest Skype for iPhone interface, will look and feel very similar for the desktop variant. In the latest design you will get the new bubble-style chat design, along with thumbnail pictures of the contacts and there is also the big bold icons for chat and video / audio calls. It’s overall look of the mobile clients for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone, but it also brings with it some chat improvements. Photos will now be displayed fully inline, and the UI on Windows has been cleaned up to remove spacing between contacts and chats. The Microsoft is also improving the File sharing overall with the new and relevant icons for the document such as Word and PDFs for making easy attachments.
Where as for the Mac user’s gets the new side-by-side design is available for voice or video calls, which mainly allowing the user to share photos or instant messages during the call. The latest Skype’s interface on the Mac has also offered the many features such as transitioning between instant messaging and calls, forcing the user to hit a + button to get back to chats.
