SigTuple, Medical Technology Startup raised seed funding

SigTuple, an Indian startup working on medical technology has raised seed funding from a bunch of investors including Sachin & Binny Bansal (Flipkart), Accel Partners, Nirupa Bareja (Former Biocon), Ashok Bareja (Former India head of National Semiconductor) and Debanjan Mukherjee (Amazon Lab126).

SigTuple has built an intelligent platform around medical diagnosis. The platform analyses the medical images and data to help the medical team in diagnosis of the particular case.

It has also built Shonit, technology-powered product which helps in analysis and reporting of various medical cases. Shonit consists of a microscope, cellphone app and a cloud powered program. It takes the input from the blood slide and quickly examines it for symptoms of various diseases including Anemia, Malaria, Leukemia etc.
