Recently at IFA Motorola has launched two new refurbished version of Moto X and Moto G where Moto G is a budget friendly smartphone and Moto X falls under mid-range device. Being a mid range device it is very popular for its performance and hardware that Motorola has offered. Motorola also offers Moto assist that observes your daily activity on your phone and works accordingly.



Here we are going to talk about automating that thing you have in your pocket or bag. That’s right, you can automate your Moto X 2014 edition! Well, if you have a Moto X (2014), then easily follow the steps to setup Moto Assist on your phone.



How to setup Moto assist on Motorola Moto X 2014

  1. Be ready at the Home screen to start with, open App Drawer from your Home Screen.

  2. Search for the app called Moto and open it. It must be there as the app comes pre installed with Moto X 2014 edition.

  3. Once after opening, you will see a gear icon at the top right, just tap on it.

  4. Select assist.

From here, you’re met with four options: Home, Driving, Meeting, Sleeping. Sleeping lets you better manage notifications and the active screen while you’re asleep. Driving will read your messages to you, or launch your favorite music app while you drive.



All the options you will see there are all up to you to manage, before using it. Sometimes you need to setup only those things you want to automate.
