Selfie focused budget Lumia with Windows Phone 8.1 coming soon

Earlier in April, we explained that Microsoft is working on a selfie targeted pocket friendly Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone that will be land later this year, may be in November or December. The device which is under development with the codename ‘Superman’ will offer a 5MP HD front camera and will be a 4.7-inch mid-range Windows Phone handset that might release during the release of second update for Windows Phone 8.1 in later part of 2014.

According to the today’s report, Microsoft is working on Lumia 720′s successor with product code names RM-984, RM-983 and RM-985. The handset is anticipated to be announced at the end of August (3rd-4th Week) and will be first coming to AT&T and Verizon in the US followed by world-wide roll-out.

We have also reported about a new Lumia series coming to market in the meanwhile August-September and it has started with Lumia 530 announcement already. Here is the expected hardware and specs of upcoming Lumia handset:
