The world biggest Smartphone maker of Korea will be launching two new phones which are running of its latest “Tizen” operating system. Recently the tech giant Samsung has launched its latest flagship device Samsung Galaxy S5 which is offering many new features of its Galaxy S series.
Samsung Tizen phones coming in Q2
The Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Gear 2 in Mobile World Congress Barcelona, Spain. The Galaxy Gear 2 is running on the Samsung latest operating system Tizen which went on sale last week. The Yoon of Samsung has said that the Samsung was working on the two Smartphones which were running on its own Tizen operating system.
The Samsung has a plan to promote and introducing the new operating system in the Smartphone world to reduce the impact of the Google Android ecosystem. Samsung said the first Tizen Smartphone, which will launch at the end of the second quarter, which could be a high-end model and the second would mainly focus at the middle of the market to gain the volume growth of this new operating system.
Yoon has said that the Android has”still needs to be their main business”, Tizen or Windows would be used for markets that Android could not address. He also said that they are trying to launch (Tizen) with DoCoMo and Orange but could not because of this poor market conditions in the new operating system.
The Yoon has also said that the Samsung also plans to launch a new version of the Galaxy Note with a “new form factor” in the second half of this year, without elaborating.
