Samsung Gear S that was unveiled in August will be reaching the retail shelves across United States this fall, claims the South Korean tech giant. In a brief press release, Samsung claims that the watch will be made available via different carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and AT&T.
As of now, Samsung has not mentioned an official word regarding the pricing of the smartwatch and simply says that more details regarding the Gear S will be coming soon.
Announced late last month, Samsung Gear S features a curved 2 inch Super AMOLED display featuring 3G connectivity. Interestingly, the Samsung smartwatch does not require a smartphone nearby to operate it and runs on the firm’s proprietary Tizen operating system.
Lately, Samsung announced the pricing and availability for the Galaxy Note Edge, Gear S and Gear VR in Australia. These devices will be going on sale in November, whereas the Galaxy Note 4 will hit the retail shelves in October. The pricing of the Gear S is $A499 or approximately $443.
