After reading the title of this post you must be thinking what exactly the B&N software is, isn’t it? B&N is an abbreviation of Barnes & Noble which is basically a book seller app, however, the bookseller disclosed it would be working with Samsung for future co-branded gadgets. The first fruit of this attempt is the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook, which was formally announced.

In short, the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is a typical 7-inch Tab 4 that features TouchWiz in favor of B&N Nook UI and customized apps. Just like with the most current Nook tablets from B&N, Google Play is also merged in the firmware as well. Barnes & Noble are also offering a few new features like the B&N Advantage — a deeply connected app that lets for both downloading books and extended customer support. As an extra lure, the Tab 4 Nook will also offer up $200 worth of B&N content including TV episodes, free books and magazines.

The Galaxy Nook 4 Tab is on sale for both in B&N brick-and-mortar shops and online for just $179, after flat $20 discount. To know more on what to forsee from the specifications department, don’t forget to read the full review of Galaxy Note 4.

Basically the tablet is designed specially for readers to get reliable UI, better and clean interface to read books, so what you think about B&N/Samsung partnership, is this gonna compete with Amazon’s Kindle Reader???
