Samsung is one of the manufacturers that is known for announcing a wide range of smartphones that are spread across different price ranges with a variety of specifications onboard.  Now, we have come up with the launch news of Galaxy S3 Neo with Android 4.4 KitKat in the European market.

Samsung has made it clear that the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update will not make its way to Galaxy S3 carrying the model number GT-I9300 as it packs only 1 GB of RAM. While this is applicable only to the LTE variant of the smartphone, the company has announced the 3G variant with Android KitKat out-of-the-box.

The Galaxy S3 Neo with the model number GT-I901I has been listed on the official Samsung Germany website. Also, the device bears a striking resemblance to the 2012 flagship model, Galaxy S3 just like the other siblings in the Neo lineup of smartphones.

Samsung had previously released the Galaxy S3 Neo in India, but the European variant is different as it does not support dual SIM functionality and is stuffed with a quad-core processor ticking at 1.4 GHz rather than 1.2 GHz. It resembles the Galaxy S3 in terms of display as it packs a 4.8 inch HD 720p display and has an increased RAM of 1.5 GB. On the storage front, there is 16 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded externally with the help of a micro SD card.

The Galaxy S3 Neo is yet to hit the retail shelves, but it is expected to be made official in the coming days. And, the listing on the website reveals that it will come in two color options – Blue and White.
