Soon after Apple announced that it will be hosting the “big iPhone event” on September 9 to launch the much anticipated iPhone 6, there is news about its stiff competitor. Well, Samsung has tried stealing the limelight by revealing that it will be launching the next generation Galaxy Note phablet on September 3.
Though the South Korean firm has not deliberately confirmed the launch of the Galaxy Note 4, it has tipped with the words “Ready? Note the date”. From the usual Samsung launch pattern and the already sent invites tipping the Samsung UNPACKED 2 event on September 3, the Galaxy Note 4 launch is highly expected. Moreover, the invite includes the Air Command menu that came with the S-Pen of the Galaxy Note 3 tipping that this feature could be included even in the Note 4.
As per the previous rumors, the Galaxy Note 4 will arrive with a 5.7 inch display boasting a Quad HD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Under the hood, the device is said to employ either an Exynos 5433 chipset or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor depending on the market. Both the variants will use 3 GB of RAM for efficient multi-tasking and a water resistant build.
The Galaxy Note 4 is said to include a 16 MP primary snapper at its back and a 4 MP front-facer for video conferencing and clicking selfies to take charge of its imaging department. Also, the device is believed to come with an ultraviolet sensor, eye scanner and curved display as well.
At the Samsung UNPACKED 2014 event, we expect the Galaxy Note 4 to be accompanied by a slew of wearable devices such as Gear VR virtual reality headset, Gear Glass and Gear S smartwatch.
