Lately, Samsung announced the launch of its Note devices, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge and now, these devices are getting ready to hit the retail stores across the world. One of them, the Galaxy Note 4 is all geared up to be released on September 26 in its home market, South Korea.
In the meantime, DJ Lee, President of Samsung’s Mobile Division, at an event in Seoul has revealed that the Samsung fans in 140 countries will be able to get their hands on the Galaxy Note 4 by the end of October. Well, Samsung managed to do the same with its predecessor as well last year. If this happens, the Galaxy Note 4 will be launched in numerous countries before the iPhone 6 Plus, its direct competitors.
An unofficial source claimed that Samsung’s internal shipping target is 15 million units in the first month of release that is a major leap from the 10 million Note 3 units that were shipped in the first month in 2013.
Talking about the Note Edge, the curved screen device is targeted towards the niche markets similar to the Galaxy Round launched last year. The Note Edge will be available in limited countries including US, where four major carriers have already announced they sell the device later this year.
