On Monday, Samsung sizzled the smartphone market with the launch of four new smartphones including Galaxy Core 2, Galaxy Young 2, Galaxy Star 2 and Galaxy Ace 4. Also, we know that the vendor in prepping the Galaxy Note 4 that is slated to see an official announcement in September at the IFA 2014 tech show. But, it appears like these are not the only devices that the vendor will be launching as there have been speculations regarding the Galaxy Mega 2 for quite sometime.
Adding more fuel to the already existing rumors, the Galaxy Mega 2 has been spotted on GFX Benchmark database providing an insight of what we can expect from the device in terms of specifications. As per the listing, the Galaxy Mega 2 bearing the model number SM-G7508 will arrive with a 5.9 inch display carrying a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
As for the other specs, the device is claimed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor based on the 64-bit Samsung chip. This chipset is said to be paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2 GB of RAM to handle intense graphics and multi-tasking. Furthermore, there will be 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded, a 12 MP primary camera that is teamed up with a 5 MP front-facer. Fueled by Android 4.4.3 KitKat, the Galaxy Mega 2 will arrive with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC.
