The latest iteration of the South Korean tech giant’s Mega lineup – Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has been circulating in rumors and leaks for many months. The handset has also shown up on numerous Asian tech sites before it was launched in Malaysia few days back. Now, a preview of the Galaxy Mega 2 has surfaced on a Thai website DroidSans revealing a closer look at the phablet that will go official across the world soon.
The initial impressions on the Galaxy Mega 2 suggest that it will be a 6 inch HD device with LTE connectivity. It is also believed to arrive with a quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos chipset paired with Mali 400MP4 graphics unit. Also, it is likely to arrive with a faux leather back panel that is similar to the one on the Galaxy Note 3.
On the software front, the Galaxy Mega 2 phablet is claimed to arrive with the same slew of software features that are found on other large screen devices from Ssmsung’s stable. These features include Multi-Window support as well for convenient operation on the 6 inch screen.
Furthermore, the report also claims that the 8 MP primary snapper on the upcoming iteration of the Mega lineup is impressive with HDR shooting mode. The samples have been leaked showing the ability of the sensor to capture vibrant colors and a good dynamic range.
