Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 Gets Listed on Thailand Website Tipping Imminent Launch

The next generation Galaxy Mega phablet has been surfacing in rumors and speculations for many months now. Lately, the Galaxy Mega 2 went on sale in Malaysia unofficially and now it appears like the device is also available in Thailand.



In a recent development, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 that awaits an official announcement has appeared on the official Samsung website for Thailand. This listing reveals the details about the device including its specifications and images tipping that an official launch is not too far.

As per the listing, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 arrives fitted with an enormous 6.3 inch HD capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the device is powered by a quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and uses 1.5 GB of RAM for multi-tasking. The imaging department comprises of an 8 MP auto focus primary camera at its back with LED flash and a 2.1 MP front-facer for making video calls and clicking self portrait shots.



The storage needs of the users are met by the ample 16 GB of native storage support in the Galaxy Mega 2 that can be expanded externally by another 64 GB using a micro SD card. Connectivity wise, the device uses 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC and it operates a 2,800 mAh battery under its hood to energize it.

From the images in the listing on the Thailand website, the Galaxy Mega 2 will arrive in Cosmic Black and Blizzard White color option respectively. Like the other Galaxy devices, this one will also come loaded with software features such as Ultra Power Saving mode, Multi-Window and others.
