Samsung has officially released Samsung Galaxy Beam 2, the successor of Samsung’s first projector smartphone Samsung Galaxy Beam. Recently Tenna, the popular Chinese certification agency has released some images of Beam 2 ans now this smartphone have been listed on Samsung’s official website.
Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 has the model number SM-G3858 and is the Android run smartphone with entry level specifications. It is expected that it may come with low price tag and falls in the mid range smartphone segment. This smartphone comes with improved specifications when compared to its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 has a 4.7 inch WVGA display with 480 X 800 pixels resolution and ~200 ppi pixel density. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. It sports a 5 megapixel rear camera that features LED flash and auto focus. It also contains a front VGA camera. It has a built-in mini pico projector with WVGA resolution.
It packs 1 GB RAM along with 64 GB expandable memory using micro SD card. It includes the connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and more. It packs the Li-ion battery of 2600 mAh battery.
