Samsung has been rumored to unleash three smartphones in the A lineup and we have been hearing several rumors and leaks about the A3 and A5 and least about the A7. However, the A7 has started surfacing in the leaks fiercely in the recent days.
While a leaked user agent profile listing on the official website revealed the SM-A700FD, the recent GFXBench test reveals the key specifications of the device and some of them adhere to the previous leaks. It reveals that the Galaxy A7 would arrive with a 5.2 inch FHD 1080p display and 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC with 64 bit processor with 2 GB of RAM, Adreno 405 graphics unit and OpenGL ES 3.0.
The device is claimed to pack 16 GB of native storage capacity, a 12 MP primary snapper with auto focus and LED flash at its back and a 5 MP front facing selfie camera respectively. Connectivity features onboard include Bluetooth, NFC, LTE, GPS and Wi-Fi and the benchmark reveals the presence of compass, proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensors.
The previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy A7 would be priced between $450 and $500 and that it will launch in select countries unlike the Galaxy A3 and A5 that are believed to be rolled out globally.
