The Samsung Galaxy A lineup of smartphones is approaching its launch date and the most recent evidence confirming the same is from the Chinese authority websites, TENAA. In a recent development, one of the smartphones in the lineup, the Galaxy A3 has been surfaced on the website. The website has also released the first set of photos of the handset showing the device in full glory.
From the images, the metal frame of the smartphone is clearly visible and it appears to be a major characterizing aesthetic of the lineup as even the Galaxy A5 and A7 are believed to sport the same aspect.
When it comes to specifications, the Galaxy A3 is said to feature a 4.52 inch AMOLED display boasting a qHD resolution of 960×540 pixels and be powered by a 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC ticking at 1.2 GHz clock speed paired with 1 GB of RAM.
Likely to be powered by Android 4.4.4 KitKat, the handset will get the complete benefit from the processor after receiving the Android L update. In terms of storage, the handset comes packed with 8 GB of internal storage that should be expandable with the help of a micro SD card.
TENAA reveals that the Galaxy A3 will measure 130.1×65.5×6.9 mm in dimension as reported earlier and weigh in at 112 grams. Also, it is said to feature an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash and support to capture FHD 1080p videos. It is also claimed to boast of a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera for video conferencing.
