ProximiT, an India based analytics and technology startup has raised $150K (INR 1 Cr) in early stage seed fund via the online crowd funding platform, 1Crowd. The raised funding will be used to expand the reach of the startup in the current city, Pune and other Indian cities.
The startup was founded in 2014 by Kamlesh Sancheti and Abhay Bora. It is a platform for engagement experience between brands and their customers.
It has created custom solutions for the clients and helped them make use of the targeted advertising. It places touch based devices (tablets) in auto rickshaws and helps the brands engage with the customers in a fun and addictive way. The solution has worked out pretty well for the startup and now they plan to implement the same in other geographies as well, starting from Indian cities.
