Pre-orders for HTC Vive starts in February next year

All thanks to the new 360 degree experience, Virtual Reality has gained popularity specifically among youths. Numbers of people are looking to buy virtual reality headset by the end of the year. Currently, all the top tech companies are working on VR devices.

HTC in association with Valve has developed its own VR headset called HTC Vive. The device was expected to be launched this month, but the company has delayed its release till spring next year. HTC Vive won’t be available till April next year, but the interested customers can book the device in February.

HTC said, “We will be starting the new year by making an additional 7,000 units available to developers, with preorders from the end of February followed by commercial availability in April 2016,” HTC has indirectly announced association with broader group of partners as well as VR content creators. It looks like the company is trying to justify its delay by giving best possible reason.

The company had announced the December 2015 release date of HTC vive in March this year. HTC had also distributed number of HTC Vive developer’s kit to encourage developers and content creators to produce more and more contents in various categories like game, entertainment, education and others.

If you love virtual reality experience and want to buy HTC Vive, you can pre-order the device in February 2016. Till then you just have to wait or you can go for some other virtual reality headset available in the market. HTC Vive really looks pretty good and immersive. This is a really sad news for people, who were expecting to get their hands on HTC Vive this December.
