Porsche known for its beautiful and stylish sports cars, is ready to take on Tesla with its new electric sports car. The German automobile company has unveiled a new electric concept car named Porsche Mission E. This car can go from zero to 62 miles per hour in less than 3.5 seconds and it can be charged up to 80% in just 15 minutes, which makes it faster than the supercharger option of Tesla.

This Porsche Mission E can travel more than 310 miles on one charge with a specific 800 volt charging system. It can run for 248 miles on 80% of charge, which takes just 15 minutes of your time. Currently, this is a concept car, but Porsche is planning to bring it into production within 5 years.

This concept car also comes with some pretty good techs like an eye tracking system, a curved OLED dashboard display and the rear-view mirror with camera that detects the mood of the driver. The dashboard display of the car adjusts itself based on the seat positions of the driver.

Global head of research and development at Porsche, Wolfgang Hatz told, “We were asked many times, ‘why don’t you do a pure battery car?’ We said it would happen when we can really deliver performance, reliability, and driving range. And now the time is right.”

Though there is no news about the pricing and some other details, the company claims that it is set to get the production approval quite soon.
