Pluss raises $1 million to expand on-demand healthcare service in India

The on-demand healthcare service, Pluss has raised $1 million in Pre-series A round of funding from IDG Ventures India, Singapore based M&S Partners and US based Powerhouse Ventures. Pluss is an on-demand service that delivers medical products to your door-steps.

Pluss is a Gurgaon based startup that deals with healthcare products. The company is trying to organize the pharmaceuticals market in its own way. The company will use this fund to improve its marketing and technology. As of now, Pluss medical item delivery service only operates in Gurgaon, Delhi and Noida, but the company is planning to expand this service to five more cities by the end of the year.

This is a good time for on-demand services market, as it is growing really very fast. Currently most of the products ranging from grocery to food to personal items are getting delivered to your doorsteps. More and more people are ordering for various products based on their needs from either mobile or PC. More and more investors are also investing in on-demand services now a days.

Pluss has its own delivery service excutives, who are called “Pluss Men”. The on-demand healthcare products company has some licensed pharmacists and trained delivery executives, who handle medical products carefully. According to the company, the medical products are delivered by these men to your door step with utmost care.

Users can place order for their prescription or non-prescription healthcare products through Pluss Android app in a simple way. You just have to click photo of your subscription and rest of the things are taken care by the company itself. The startup promises that your items will be delivered to your place in one hour, where it operates.
