Google has listed the Photo Sphere Camera app for iOS running devices devices on iTunes. The 360-degree images shooting Photo Sphere feature was first seen in Google Nexus 4 main camera app, and recently only was made available for non-Nexus devices (running Android 4.4 KitKat or higher) with name Google Camera app.
Before the launch of the standalone Photo Sphere Camera app for iOS has been optimized for iPhone 5 and can be install on iPad, iPad or other iPhone devices running iOS 7 or later, except the iPhone 4. If you go to the iTunes Store, there Google has mentioned a note that “the iPhone 4 cannot create photo spheres”
May be Google is still testing the app on iPhone to offer the stable one, if you also have iPhone 4 and looking to get this outstanding app, you might have to wait few more days or a weak or two to get it.
The recently launched app for iOS allows users to create a 360 degree panoramic image around an axis. Once if you start shooting 360 degree images, you will be guided by many different dots to get the better image.
Once a user aligns the dot and circle together in the Photo Sphere Camera app, it automatically captures the image(No need to tap to save the image) and keeps on joining them together. The final version of the captured 360 degree image results in a sphere. On the whole, the Photo Sphere Camera app is very simple and easy to use, you can even see an video tutorial by Google for more details.
