Phillips to launch 5K Display Monitor

Phillips is launching a brand smacking new lineup of monitors to IFA 2015, which includes a revolutionary 5K monitor and displays featuring Quantum Dot technology.

These new monitors are headed by a splendid 27-inch LCD monitor with an UltraClear 5K resolution that features around 14.7 million pixels inside a 5,120 x 2,880 resolution that pledges four times better than the pixels of a 4K display.

The monitor with 5K display also has a PerfectKolor Technology that acquires factory calibrated Adobe RGB color space and it has more than one billion colors. It is also built with a webcam, multi-view window to allow the display to be split into several panels, built-in speakers and various other gizmos to bring the best experience possible.

The 27-inch IPS Adobe RGB display with Quantum Dot Color IQ will carry the same theme of color intensity at the IFA 2015. This new 5K monitor brings 50% better quality and more color intensity compared to the traditional LEDs, it is reasonable and energy-efficient as it uses 25% less energy than other comparable tech products.

IFA 2015 also witnesses the d├ębut of a new 34-inch curved display with a Quad-HD resolution. Ambiglow Plus Base technology is designed to endow more immersive viewing experience via new lighting and SoftBlue tech that helps to prevent eye deplete by protecting the viewer’s eyes.

The cost of the monitor and the release date is not yet revealed but if anybody is going to IFA 2015 can have a glimpse of the product in Berlin 4th to 9th September.
