Orobind personal fitness app funded by angel investors Harpreet Singh Grover and Zishaan Hayath. Orobind makes it easy for people to remain healthy by connecting people to trusted personal coaches through Orobind app. People will achieve their health goals and in turn create healthier communities. Orobind app belongs to Orobind Technologies P Ltd.

Orobind has created marketplace to discover personal fitness coaches around user and book their sessions. User can set personalized weight loss goals, earn rewards as they progress towards their goals and monitor progress discussing it continuously either with their in houses coach or personal coach.
Bengaluru based Orobind was found in June 2014 by Satya Vyas and Shubhanshu Srivastava.

Satya Vyas is co founder and Chief Executive Officer of Orobind Technologies P Ltd. He has done his graduation in Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.


Satya Vyas has very good entrepreneurial experience. In 2008 he founded Dietz Foods, the company was more into healthy food for the health conscious people. He started working on freelance basis working on freelance blogging and content writing in 2009. He joined Schlumberger as Field Engineer. He underwent training in deep water drilling and received VP Award for successfully running an inclination at bit tool in a deviated well. In 2011 he headed Institutional Sales Business of Mountain Trail Foods and drive their flagship brand Chai Point.

In 2014 he founded The Integral Project to empower people with disabilities and getting them to mainstream of life.

The other founder Shubhanshu Srivastava of Orobind has rich professional experience. He has graduated in Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.


He started his career in Newgen Software Technologies Ltd as Senior Software Engineer. In his of tenure of 2 years he developed Image processing algorithms and libraries. Shubhanshu filed 3 patents in Indian Patents Officer for Image Processing solutions. One patent application accepted by United States Patent and Trademark Office. He was instrumental in scanning and printing drivers for Windows Platform.

In 2010, Shubhanshu joined Snapdeal as Senior Innovation Engineer. He was instrumental in making Snapdeal app on mobile platforms. As Lead Engineer he lead effort of Snapdeal Order Management System and Centralised Login subsystem before joining Orobind. He is Chief Technology Officer of Orobind.

Orobind received seed funding from Lalit Mangal, Co founder of Commonfloor.com and Sameer Mehta, an entrepreneur from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. The company is building platform to assist gym instructors in India who are unorganized, the company is planning to bring together these gym instructors and provide alternate sources of income.


Apart from these Orobind analyzing the consumer behaviour to scale up their platform. Once they have understood and Orobind will pan in entire Bangalore and slowly roll out into other major cities.

Due to the advancement and constant technological up gradation in technical world, high penetration of smart phone at affordable range is making huge presence. It is creating more avenues for revenue generation in terms of newer apps that helps people to streamline their life.

Orobind will be one such app that helps people in reaching healthier lifestyle but cannot find time to go gym or walk.
