Oppo has been heavily churning out more and more teasers to keep its N3 campaign going. The latest image it has shared again reveals details regarding the rotating camera of its upcoming flagship.
The teaser image shows the presence of a fingerprint sensor that we first saw in a leaked live photo that surfaced last week. It is located centrally at the back panel of the Oppo N3 so that it is positioned underneath the user’s index finger when the phone is held by the user. As of now, there is no clear indication of what functionality the fingerprint scanner will serve such as unlocking the smartphone securely.
It is yet to be determined if this fingerprint scanner will be similar to a swipe scanner found on the Samsung Galaxy smartphones and HTC One Max or a touch sensor as in the Apple products and the newly released Huawei Ascend Mate 7. As the latter has a better implementation, we hope that Oppo manages to compare with this on the N3.
Nevertheless, the wait for the Oppo N3 launch is not too far as the launch event is slated to happen in the next week in Singapore.
