It appears like China based Oppo is all set to launch the miniature variant of its N1 as claimed earlier. As per PhoneArena, the upcoming Oppo N1 mini has passed the FCC certification and it is referred to as Oppo N5116.
The smartphone bears a close resemblance to its bigger brother – Oppo N1, but it seems to be relatively smaller packing slightly downgraded specifications under its hood. After the inspection, it is revealed that the device boasts of a 5 inch LCD display packing a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels that is down from the FHD 1080p resolution on the N1.
The battery capacity of the miniature variant is also said to be lowered to 2,140 mAh while the camera units are claimed to be unchanged confirming the presence of a 13 MP primary camera with 180 degree swivel mechanism.
Last week, there were speculations circulating across the online world suggesting that the Chinese firm is prepping two new handsets based on the N1. These smartphones are none other than the Oppo N1 mini, the miniature variant of the yesteryear model and the Oppo N2, the successor of N1.
