OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone making company and the maker of the very popular OnePlus One smartphone, apparently has plans to showcase a smart watch called OneWatch to compete with other vendor in this category.

The OnePlus One smartphone was launched couple of months ago with impressive top-end specifications like a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, Snapdragon 801 processor and 3 GB of RAM. All that and it was pocket friendly. So people expecting the OneWatch be the well-priced alternative Android Wear device to lower the competition?

As stated by BGR, OnePlus is almost set to announce the smartwatch officially. The site somehow managed to the sketch of the watch with details showing the watch will offer a round face, similar to somewhat Motorola Moto 360 which is also waiting to out soon. It is thought the delay on the round faced watch is due to completion of Android Wear software so it will work great with that watch.

Specs disclose for the OnePlus OneWatch receives, soberly, titanium trim, a sapphire OLED display, and a curved, wireless-chargeable battery built-into the leather strap.

The main image at the top of this article shows the OnePlus page which also has been leaked. It doesn’t show if purchasing will be limited to those that are invited to do so like the OnePlus One.

It all sounds very good and is believable but we are still going to take it with a pinch of salt until we hear more about this, stay connected with us to know more details and availability of this smartwatch.
