Recently the search engine giant Microsoft has launched Nokia Lumia 730 in the IFA event. And the Same time Motorola a Lenovo Company’s has also launched the next generation of Moto G in the event which held in Chicago and New Delhi. Both the Smartphones are lies in the same mid budget range of the Smartphone Arena.

Design and Looks

Both the Smartphones looks wise are awesome in looks and available in many vibrant color, the Nokia Lumia 730 will available in Black, White, Green and Orange Color, whereas the Moto G (2nd Generation) is already available on the Flipkart (in India) in Black and White color. The Lumia 730 slightly lighter than Moto G, means the Moto G is 149 grams whereas the Lumia 730 is only 134 grams in weight.

Display

The Motorola Moto G has a 5 inch HD touchscreen display. The new Moto G’s display offered 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and 294 ppi pixel density — which is lower than the Lumia 730 and the old Moto G. The next-gen Moto G’s display is not very good and it is very hard to read text under sunlight on the smartphone.

On the other side Nokia Lumia 730’s has 4.7 inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The pixel density of this is 312 ppi, which is much better than the next-gen Moto G’s display. And its Clear Black technology makes the colors on the display more dynamic. And both the Smartphones display’s are cover with Cornia Gorilla Glass 3 which makes scratch and dust resistant.

Processor and Memory

The Lumia 730 has a Quad core 1.2 GHz  Qualcomm Snap dragon 400 processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. For better graphics and game support it has Aderno 305 GPU. The Nokia Lumia 730 has 8 GB built-in storage which is further expandable up to 128 GB with the use of MicroSD card. Whereas the Motorola Moto G(2014) is empowered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 processor with Aderno 305 GPU which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The latest variant of the Moto G comes with 16 GB internal support which is expandable up to 32 GB through the Micro SD Card

Camera and Connectivity

This time the Moto G has a 8 mega-pixel rear view camera along with LED flash. The camera is able to take 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution photos and also supports HDR, Geo-tagging, face detection, auto focus and touch focus and much more. The Moto G also has a 2 Mega-pixel front facing camera for video calling and hangout purpose. And for the connectivity this Smartphone has WI-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB and 3G connectivity also.

On the Other way the Nokia is always famous for its Smartphone Camera, and this time the new Lumia’s which are launched in the IFA event are mainly camera specific,- the Lumia 730 has a 6.1 Mega-pixel Carl Zesis Camera with LED flash, the camera is able to record video’s at full HD resolution and it also supports Geo-tagging, HDR, face detection, panorama and much more. And this Smartphone has 5 mega-pixel front facing camera which is specially given for the Selfies and Skype video calls and the front camera is record the video at 720 p (HD) resolution. The Lumia 730 comes with – Bluetooth 4.0, WI-FI, A-GPS, NFC and 3G connectivity.

The Moto G(2nd Gen) is already available in some countries like India at a price of Rs. 12,999 which is roughly near around $210 USD. And the according to the Microsoft and Nokia announcement the Lumia 730 price is lies between $250 – $270 USD and this Smartphone will globally available  up to the end of this month of September.

Verdict :

Except the price the Lumia &30 is much better than Motorola Moto G, if you ignore the OS because both operating systems are different to each other, if you want a better Smartphone than I personally suggest you go for Nokia Lumia 730
