Nokia Camera app is designed to make the most of the Nokia Lumia Camera and currently it is holding the beta status. Microsoft has stated in the Windows Phone store that “you will receive the frequent updates with the latest improvements and features”. As it is still in beta status there could be some bugs and these bugs will be fixed with the upcoming updates.
The previous update has brought many updates to the Nokia Camera Beta app with many improvements to inline video playback, Images support and more. Below is the list of the changelog of the latest and previous updates.
Changelog of v220.127.116.11
- Bug fixes and improvements
Changelog of v18.104.22.168
- Improved living images playback in the Camera roll
- Improved Inline Video Playback in Camera roll
- Improved focus indicator on the devices with the continuous autofocus
- Few bug fixes and performance improvements
Living Images and the continuous Autofocus are supported on Nokia Lumia 1520, Lumia 930 and Icon running the Lumia Cyan software update. The update will be rolled out automatically to your device but it is done in phases, so it may take few days to reach your device. To update the app manually go to Settings>Phone Update. Nokia Camera beta app works best on the phones featuring the Lumia Cyan Software update. It also works on other phones with some functionality limitations on all phones with the Lumia Amber update or later.
Nokia Camera app is available for free and weighs the size of 15 MB and you can download it from the below link.
