New Windows ‘Threshold’ coming with virtual desktop support

According to the latest rumor the operating system giant Microsoft will launch the next version of Windows Operating system “Threshold” (codenamed) up to the first quarter of the next year 2015. There is also a news coming with this latest rumor that the New Windows ‘Threshold’ coming with virtual desktop support

According to one of the sources, the upcoming windows OS will similar kind of virtual desktop that is available on the Linux-based OS Ubuntu.  It is basically allowing for more than one desktop to be on screen at once, each running their own applications. While the tech giant Microsoft might be testing this feature in Redmond, even the Neowin admits that it may not make it in the final shipping version of Threshold.

A Couple a weeks ago, Microsoft’s chief operating officer Kevin Turner has claimed that the next version of Windows would have some “game changing” features. The Microsoft has already admitted that the next variant of Windows operating system will enclose a more traditional Start menu for the desktop, but one which will still have some “Modern” UI features. According to the current rumors claim that  the Microsoft might offer a public preview of Threshold, which might be called as Windows 9 operating system when it is officially released, this fall.

The final version launch of Threshold  will be launched in the spring of 2015 and there are rumors, Microsoft might release it as a free update for Windows 7 and 8.1 users. Other details of this Upcoming Windows might be getting soon, until we have to wait for that.
