New software update of HTC One M8 on Verizon’s network

Recently the HTC One M8 has launched globally. It is the latest Flagship Smartphone of the HTC. The One M8 is a successor of the HTC ONe which has launched in the last year. The HTC One M8 which works on the Verizon’s network is getting some software updates.

The One M8 is the latest Smartphone from  HTC which giving a tough competition to the Smasung Galaxy S5. The One M8 is running on the latest version of Android operating system i.e. KitKat 4.4.2. The One M8 has offered the world first dual rear camera which is a new feature of HTC for focus and refocus function of the camera. The Smartphone has a terrific built quality, the whole metallic unibody design gives a premium look to the Smartphone.


Now  the Verizon is following suit with an update of their own, though for very different reasons such as-

  • ERI Update to remove the roaming indicator icon displayed on some HTC One M8 devices (Out of Box)
  • Resolved  the issue  which is related to the webpage and application connection errors in certain conditions
  • Bluetooth connectivity improvements
  • Gallery: Integrated a new Copy/Paste feature
  • Gallery: Mute/Edit buttons on the Video Highlights tile
  • The update has also improved the sync behavior while closing the flip with Dot matrix case

The update should be rolling out in stages, and it is near about 122 MB in size, so you have to need a WI-Fi connection before downloading.
