Last year Samsung has acquired the SmartThings tech for $200 million. Now Samsung announced the second generations of Smart Things home smart hardware. The Korean electronics giant has announced that the new hub and sensors will be available for shipping in September this year. You don’t have to worry for older hardware, as they will still work as good, but the new hardware will more powerful and better than the predecessor.
The new generations products of SmartThings products will have enough power to handle processing locally rather than handling in the cloud. This feature will be allow the device to work even if your internet connection is out.
