When it comes to the display, Moto E flaunts a 4.3-inch qHD screen as compared to Canvas 2 Colors A120 which sports a 5 HD inch display. Obviously, the Micromax offering has an increased pixel density of 294 pixels per inch while the Moto E has only 256 ppi pixel density. But, as Motorola claimed that the handset is ‘Made to last’, the screen is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection. However, the Micromax phone is capable of displaying clear and crisp content and will deliver better viewing angles as  it is an IPS panel.

Performance and Memory

The Moto E is stuffed by a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 SoC that is teamed up with Adreno 302 GPU and on the other hand, the Micromax phone comes equipped with a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor that is clocked at 1.3 GHz and Mali 400 MP1 graphics unit. Both the phones feature 1 GB of RAM that can pave way for better multi-tasking and smoother performance.

On the storage front, both Moto E and Canvas 2 Colors are bundled with 4 GB of internal storage capacity that could be too low for many perspective buyers. However, this native storage space can be extended externally up to 32 GB via a micro SD card.

While Motorola has included attractive customization options, the handset has compromised a lot in its photography department to keep its price low. There is a basic 5-megapixel rear camera on the device that lacks both auto focus and LED flash. Hence, the camera cannot really deliver impressive quality photos when there not sufficient lighting. Adding to this, the Moto E lacks a front-facer for making video calls and to assist in video chatting sessions.

Talking about the Micromax Canvas 2 Colors A120, the handset carries an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a low resolution 2-megapixel front camera is also unclouded on the device at the front enabling users to make video calls. In addition, the rear camera is also clubbed with LED flash for better low light photography.
