Flipkart is the only retailer that sells Motorola phones in India. This has been a very poor decision from Motorola, as often people criticize about this decision of the company, because if you want to buy a Motorola phone you have to buy it from Flipkart. It looks like Motorola has also learnt the lessons, as the company has announced that now Moto phones can be purchased through more retailers in India.

Motorola has said that its 4G version of Moto E will now be available in some selected stores of Airtel, where people can walk in and try the product. Some other E-commerce site of India like Amazon and Smapdeal will start selling 3G and 4G version Moto E from tomorrow onwards.

Amit Boni, the general manager of Motorola India said while responding to the new announcement, “Responding to growing demand from our consumers we have made a strategic move of increasing the availability of our portfolio across offline and multiple online shopping platforms. To start off, we will be available at select stores for our consumers to experience and purchase the device,”

Currently, there is no official announcement that other devices like Moto X play or Moto G 3rd Generation will be available on these retailers or not. Chances are that the other smartphones from Motorola will be available on these retailers, but we can’t say for sure. It looks like we just have to wait for some more time to know these answers.
